Join us in congratulating our very own, Dr. Jon-Michael Cline, on receiving the 2024 Tyler Junior College Valuable Young Alumnus Award!
This award recognizes an individual of integrity and stature for distinguished achievement in business, profession or life work, or for their outstanding service to Tyler Junior College. This award is given to an alum who is 45 years of age or younger.
Dr. Cline attended Tyler Junior College from 200-2002 where he played both tennis and baseball. TJC was an amazing opportunity to grow and jump-start his next endeavor of playing baseball for the Texas A&M Aggies and then later for the Minnesota Twins in their minor league system. After a shoulder injury, he decided to pursue his dream of becoming a physician. He was able to perfectly merge his love of sports and passion for medicine. He is now a Primary Care Sports Medicine physician here at ClineMed and Azalea Orthopedics.
Dr. Jon-Michael Cline is highly deserving of receiving this award. He has had such a positive impact on the local community through healthcare initiatives and through his dedication to providing exceptional patient care. His leadership and mentorship within the medical community as well as with hundreds of local athletes has been invaluable.
We are so proud of you, Dr. Cline!
